Brooks takes on the Old South
This is really, really something. From Think Progress.
I'm just some guy who reads blogs that privilege correct information over incorrect information. Consider this a better-blog clipping service of my favorite stories.
I have to wonder if that was even a real call - I felt like that man was straight out of the 1930's south.
ReplyDeleteAnd it would have been nice to see Brooks push back on the blatant racism in the call.
I thought Brooks did push back pretty effectively - without calling the guy a racist pig. Which he is.
ReplyDeleteI also wondered if this was a real call, but I know there are plenty of people who think exactly as the caller does.
And they mostly have guns.
